The investiture ceremony for the first batch of Rangers and Rovers of MLCU Unit was conducted today at the university campus.
A total of 35 students were inducted as first batch of members to the MLCU unit of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides, out of which 12 were inducted as Rovers and 23 inducted as Rangers.
The ceremony was attended by MBSG State Secretary W Lyngdoh, officers, MLCU vice chancellor Prof. TK Bamon, who is also the Joint State Secretary, MBSG, faculty and students of the university.
Speaking on the occasion Lyngdoh congratulated the students and advised them to follow the ethics and values of the MBSG so that they will become well rounded citizens of the country.
