A 32-year old man died after he lost control of his bike and slammed into bus at Marshillong in South West Khasi Hills district, according to police.
The deceased was identified Kherlin Mawlein of Mawsep village.
The incident happened today at around 3:45 pm near the Jashiar bridge. Mawlein was riding his bike (ML 05 T 8168) on high speed and collided with a bus (ML 04 A 0715), police said.
His body was taken to CHC Mawkyrwat and police have registered a case.
