Three undergraduate students from the College of Community Science, Tura, part of the Central Agricultural University (CAU) in Imphal, are set to embark on a one-month international training programme at National Ilan University (NIU) in Taiwan, from November 27 to December 26.
This initiative, sponsored by the Institutional Development Plan-National Agricultural Higher Education Project (IDP-NAHEP) and funded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) through the World Bank, marks the fourth batch of students to participate in the programme.
The students expressed their excitement for the opportunity to gain exposure and develop ‘Advanced Entrepreneurship Skill in Community Science for Self-Employment’ in Taiwan and conveyed their gratitude to university officials and faculty for their support and encouragement in pursuing this unique experience, a press release said today.
