The two-day district-level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament Festival 2025 concluded at the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) wherein 20 winners were selected to participate during the state level competition
The festival organised by NEHU in association with the NSS Cell was to provide a platform for young minds to engage in meaningful discussions on governance, economy, national security, and social progress, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat, 2047.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 142 students from East Khasi Hills and Eastern West Khasi Hills districts. The sessions were filled with thought-provoking discussions, engaging debates, and powerful presentations.
The competition comprised five sessions, with four winners selected from each session.
The winners were felicitated during the valedictory function which was attended by NEHU Registrar incharge Baphimon Rynjah.
