Police arrested two men and seized 50.37 gms of heroin from their possession last night.
East Khasi Hills police said the persons of Punjabi Line were moving suspiciously in the area when the Cantonment Beat House police along with the special party detained them.
After a search was conducted with the help of the ANTF, four soap cases containing the drug, cash of Rs 28,050, two mobile phones were recovered from their possession. An Aprilla 60 Scooty with registration number ML 05X 5083 was also seized, police said.
