Two officers of the Meghalaya Civil Service (MCS) have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and allocated to the joint Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
The officers are Paleisha Lyngdoh Lawai and Barnari Mawlong.
A notification was issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (Department of Personnel & Training) on February 27.
