In its continued drive against illicit liquor, the Excise staff of East Khasi Hills conducted raids in restaurants, stalls in the town and its outskirts, wherein 51 cases were uncovered during March-June, 2024.
The excise seized 2874.12 litres of indigenous liquor and 759.9 litres IMFL.
Fifteen persons were in connection with these cases under the Excise Act, a press release informed.
