Shillong, Mar 24: The 14 Meghalaya kickboxers who won medals at the recent ASMITA East Zone event have left for Chennai today where they will battle it out with the best in the country at the Khelo India ASMITA Kickboxing Women’s National League 2025-26.
The event will run from March 26 to 29.
Meghalaya’s contingent, under the Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association (MSKA), will be led by coach Ibadahunshisha Rani. The MSKA kickboxers bagged two gold, two silver and 10 bronze at the East Zone league in Siliguri a few weeks ago.
The MSKA held a warm send-off for the state team at Hotel Assembly here.
