Eleven office bearers and party workers of the People’s Democratic Front (PDF) in East Jaiñtia Hills have tendered their resignation.
The 11 submitted their resignation letter, on January 21, to the president of the district unit of the PDF, Shibor Lamare.
They include unit vice-president Sambha Pakem, general secretary Bisharbha Pala, assistant secretary Shibun Tlang, organising secretary Hep Shullet, president of the PDF Saipung unit Heral Suting, vice-president Dalamshynrang War, treasurer Dap Shyrmang, adviser Hamris Bamon, Kampher Paslein and Shar Suja.
The members cited personal grounds as the reason for their resignation.
